I absolutely love this adorable coffee house!! If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. They have great food, amazing red velvet cookies, lots of other things here like concerts, surprise! And improv nights... Great first date location. They even have gaming machines. They have it all. You're gonna love it if you stop in.
They have ice cream, coffee sandwiches, shakes. The atmosphere is cool. I wish they didn’t have the slot machines it messes with the chill vibe. The guy was pretty cool. But the old lady… she was pretty grumpy.. messed with the vibe.. messed up our order twice.. it was our first time there no one listed the menu online so I took photos of it. I will return.. the coffee was pretty sweet so next time I will try something else but even though it was sweet the flavor was good. I just wish the old lady would stay in the back and do the paperwork and not the orders… but can’t let one grumpy old lady mess up your day.. just smile and move on.
I LOVE bringing my friends here. I've been coming here since I was a kid. The cahsier is always friendly. The shop has just a suttle alternative/gamer feel to it. There's usually rock and roll playing on the radio. It's nearly always busy on weekends. The food is good, they serve beer too. I love their desserts. I love that they stay open late. This place has always been a stress free haven for me. I love the old wooden structure and the dim lighting. I love the spooky old bathrooms upstairs and that the theatre is haunted! I love that the location is supposedly built in a haunted forest.
Best place to go for all LGBT artists in the south area. Amazing chill and comfy vibes during the day, and a hip and fun rock atmosphere during the night! Great service, and music like you won't see anywhere else!
Can’t speak to the quality of the food/coffee. I walked up to the counter and said hello to the employee SITTING RIGHT AT THE COUNTER WORKING ON A LAPTOP who ignored me. My husband said hello, and was also completely ignored. We left. No way this place deserves my money when the employees can’t even greet customers who are clearly ready to order. I get it’s a coffee shop but it looks really unprofessional to have employees behaving this way. I’ll stick to the Yemeni coffee house in Chicago Ridge where the employees take pride in their work.
The place has so much potential to be a cool/hipster coffee house. We stopped in and were turned off by slot machines and ash trays- really makes the environment kind of gross. Then we tried to order drinks with oat milk and they didn’t have it! Huge bummer.
Not welcoming at all. Atmosphere was better than a one star but the reviews on the owners being rude is completely correct. Not even a smile out of "santa." Not to mention slow and they buy cakes/muffins from costco or sams club and sell them for a ridiculous price.
Chocolate chip cookie and espresso are ok. My complaint is it's a little pricey. Spent a little over $7 altogether. Lots of choices to pick from like sandwiches to alcohol. Lots of seating including outdoor patio seating. They also hold shows/events upstairs. Interesting coffee shop in the downtown area of willow springs.
